GlobalResearch The United Kingdom unknowingly admitted that its government has been lying, accusing Russia of allegedly poisoning former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia by the nerve agent Novichok on March 4 in Salisbury. The British government has already made two grave mistakes. Second, according to the doctors of the hospital where Yulia Skripal is being treated, her condition is getting better and her health status is currently described as stable. He also told the Daily Mail: Even if they survive they will not recover. Thus, this fact completely excludes the use of nerve agent Novichok. The earlier report that Skripal and his daughter had been attacked while sitting on a bench at a shopping mall has also been refuted by Scotland Yard GR Editor. Let us remind you, Scotland Yard detectives came to a conclusion that Sergey Skripal and his daughter were poisoned at their house. A particularly high concentration of agent was detected at the entrance door. If Skripal was poisoned at his home, then the agent used against him cannot be a nerve gas.

Major-General Sir William Ponsonby Sir Henry Ponsonby became private secretary to the Queen just before the name change in ; it is unlikely however that his name would have been very well known and Ponsonby Road appears as early as the mid s. His surname is thus the least likely source for the naming of the road and eventually the new name for the suburb The Hon. He was living on Ponsonby Road in the s and died in His Christian name is an unlikely source for the naming of the road and there is a map from the mid s showing Ponsonby Road which may predate Peacocke’s arrival in New Zealand in It is widely believed that what is now Ponsonby Road was originally called Vandeleur Road, but this is not backed up by evidence.
However it does not run in the same direction as the existing Ponsonby Road and it was probably never laid out – if it had been it would run north-south and sit between the existing Howe and Hepburn Streets basically where Western Park is located. Many of the early street names of Auckland were derived from military men involved in the Napoleonic Wars; this includes Wellington and Nelson.
Neither Frederick or William Ponsonby or Vandeleur came to New Zealand but they are probably the source for the street names and ultimately the suburb’s name. About Sydney Contemporary Starkwhite will present a group show at Sydney Contemporary, from September, featuring the work of pioneer experimental filmmaker and kinetic artist Len Lye, along with works by contemporary practitioners Rebecca Baumann, Seung Yul Oh and Michael Zavros. New Zealand born artist Len Lye is recognised internationally as a pioneer in the field of experimental film and kinetic art. Our presentation will focus on his kinetic work with two key sculptures – Rotating Harmonic and Roundhead From one simple steel rod, Lye coxes the fundamental principles of harmonic motions that underlie his work.
Rebecca Baumann explores the relationship between colour, light and time in her work, notably in her ongoing series of automated colour fields. The ACFs consist of grids of split-panel flip clocks, each with the number cards replaced with cards of solid colour. The result is a vast and affecting and constantly changing field of colour. Like changing numbers on a clock, the cards flip on each clock on the minute on the right hand side and on the hour on the left hand side — revealing the endless combinations of the palette.
Yet while Baumann draws from an understanding of the art historical role of colour, her focus remains a study of how colour elicits emotions. We will present her latest variation, which is also her largest to date.
